India Partner Network (IPN) is committed to providing a platform where an NGO can be accurately represented and have access to the best opportunities. To ensure this, we're implementing a new profile expiry process that involves both annual reviews and reminders for expiring fields.
This change brings significant benefits for NGOs:
Increased Visibility and Opportunities: Maintaining updated profiles is crucial! By keeping the information current, it ensures that the organization is accurately represented and considered for opportunities. Accurate data can lead to increased visibility towards donors and opportunities for collaboration and ultimately helping the organization achieve its goals.
Curated Opportunities: With accurate and up-to-date information, IPN can better identify opportunities that align with the NGOs work and share it with them. This means the NGOs will receive more personalised and relevant opportunities, saving their time and increasing their chances of success.
We believe this process will help NGOs become more visible and maximize their impact.
What are the implications of not updating the fields?
It's important to review and update the profile information within the given timeframe to ensure the organization is accurately represented and considered for opportunities.
Here's what happens if the NGO doesn't update their profile:
Reduced Visibility and Opportunities: Having a profile with outdated or expired fields in the profile can significantly reduce the NGOs chances of getting shortlisted for funding opportunities, campaigns, and other such opportunities hosted on the IPN platform. The organization might also be ineligible to participate in certain campaigns.
Please note that Sattva teams internally shortlisting NGOs for CSR and other opportunities will not be considering NGO profiles that are outdated.
How can I, as an NGO user, ensure that my profile is up-to-date at all times?
You can follow the below steps to ensure that your profile is updated at all times.
Check Your Email: Watch for profile expiry or review notifications from India Partner Network.
Log In and Review: Log in to IPN and go to your organization's profile. Review the fields mentioned in the notification.
Update and Confirm:
If the value has changed: Update the field with the new information, then click "Save and Exit." Confirm your update by switching on the toggle button next to the field in the popup.
If the value hasn't changed: Click "Save and Exit" and confirm by switching on the toggle button.
By following these simple steps, you can ensure your profile is up-to-date and you're eligible for all the latest opportunities!
Do I, as an NGO user, need to review all the fields in my organization profile?
No, you don't need to review every single field in your organization profile every year. We've identified key fields that require your attention, divided into two groups:

These fields need to be updated only when they expire. We'll send you reminders to update these specific fields:

You only need to update fields that have changed or expired. If a field's information hasn't changed, simply confirm it as unchanged.
How can I, as an NGO user, identify the fields in my profile which need my attention?
Here's how you can identify the fields:
1. Email Notifications:
You'll receive email notifications at key intervals with the fields that need your attention:
2. In Your Organization Profile:
Right-Hand Panel: A panel on the right side of your profile sections (Registration, Basic, Compliance, Compliance Plus) will list fields requiring review. The fields will be highlighted in yellow (for annual reviews) and orange (for expiring fields) to draw your attention. See below
Save and Exit Popup: You can also see the fields requiring attention in a popup that appears when you click the "Save and Exit" button. See next question for details.
I see a popup with a list of fields and a toggle button after clicking "Save and Exit". What is this about?
We've introduced a new confirmation step to ensure that you've reviewed and updated (or confirmed as unchanged) all the necessary fields in your profile. Here's how it works:
For Fields to be Reviewed Annually:
Confirmation Step: After you click "Save and Exit," a popup will appear listing the fields that need to be reviewed annually.
Check Box: Next to each field, you'll see a check box.
Confirming Your Review: Check the boxes for each field you've reviewed and updated (or confirmed as unchanged). This confirms your review and ensures the field's annual review date is updated to the next cycle.
Important Note: Even if you update the field value but don't check the boxes, the field will remain marked as "not reviewed".
For Fields with Explicit Expiry Dates:
Disabled Check Box: The check box for expiring fields will be disabled until you've either:
Changed the value to "No" to confirm you don't have an updated certificate.
Changed the value to "Yes" and added a new expiry date (which must be in the future).
Enabling the Check Box: Once you've updated the field correctly, the checkbox will become enabled.
Confirming the Update: Switch on the checkbox to confirm the update and save the changes.
By using this new confirmation step, you can be sure your profile is updated accurately and you're eligible for all the latest opportunities.
What are the timelines for review, expiry etc?
Here's a breakdown of the timelines for reviewing and updating your profile:
Annual Reviews:
Review Period: You have 30 days from the annual review date to review and update (or confirm as unchanged) the required fields.
Expiry Dates:
Expiry Deadline: You must update fields with explicit expiry dates before the expiry date listed.
We'll send you reminders at the following intervals:
30 days before the Annual Review Date/Expiry Date
7 days before the Annual Review Date/Expiry Date
On the Annual Review Date/Expiry Date
7 days after the Annual Review Date/Expiry Date
30 days after the Annual Review Date/Expiry Date
